Hawthorne 1834 1st – “The Story Teller” Parts I & II – Pre-Twice-Told Tales – New-England Magazine

The New-England Magazine, volume VII, July–December 1834, published in Boston by J.T. Buckingham. The volume contains two installments titled “The Story Teller,” attributed to Nathaniel Hawthorne, beginning on pages 352 and 392.

Rebound in brown cloth with gilt spine lettering. A handwritten note inside the board identifies the Hawthorne contribution. The title page, index, relevant story pages, and final editorial are illustrated.

Condition: Foxing and water staining, with light wear to the rebound covers. Binding structurally sound.
